And the work begins....

Just to let you know the next meeting will be Tuesday, March 6th (not tomorrow)

Here is what was covered as well as our next steps:

- Start touching base with your potential contacts, see what information they have, can provide for us, or who they know so we can start to get an idea as to who we want to interview

- Michael is well on his way doing his part, by the looks of his email we are moving along (btw, he has Tokyo covered so we do not need any contacts there)

- Kassidy has a contact in Bangkok and has family friends in other cities that may be of help, he will be contacting them by next meeting

- Geoff is tapping into the University path, we are possibly looking into seeing if there are any Universities in Asia that have a finance concentration, maybe interviewing a Professor or two - Geoff has a contact info for a Professor and will be contacting them as well

- Sia, you said you have your contact for a bank here? hope you are feeling better!

- My company invests in foreign currency so I will be talking to the analysts at my company to see what they have to offer in regards to market, interest or both risks and what they look for when investing. I also deal with Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers on a daily basis - I will also be contacting them to see if they can direct me to someone within their companies that deal with risk

- Jerry, I am sure you have similar contacts to offer. hope your trip was good!

- Lyonel took an investments class and he has all the notes and book to offer as a reference

- We still need to think about potential questions that we may ask for the interviews, anything you can think of just write it down and we can decide with the help of Dr. Lee and with the group's decision.

- And as a friendly reminder:
Interest rate risk = Lisa, Lyonel, Michael
Exchange rate risk = Geoff, Jerry, Kassidy, Sia

- Since we are starting to acquire sources and references, please keep track of the website, title, etc. ANYTHING to help you find it again. Doesn't need to be in bibliography form but just copy and paste on a word document until we figure out what information we use

I think we are looking really good - Nice work guys!
